Hi, I’m KARI RUSSELL.
I’ve been passionate about personal safety for several years, but as the world got scarier, I decided it was time to help others build their own personal safety plans. I believe everyone should have the ability to defend themselves, should a situation present itself. While creating the plan itself is an important step, it’s also important to practice personal safety skills so they are ready to use should you ever need them. I decided to get certified in everything I could in order to offer those services to my community, in everything from Situational Awareness to Firearms Instruction.
I’ve been training with firearms since 2016, and became an NRA Instructor and Range Safety Officer in 2021. I am the Group Leader and Instructor for the Bullseye Women’s Shooting Club here in Wichita, am a competitive shooter with IDPA, and also serve as Range Safety Officer for the Wichita chapter of A Girl and A Gun. In 2024, I became a STOP THE BLEED® Instructor and an ARCURI Situational Awareness Specialist, and in 2026 became an AVIRT Instructor.
I would love the chance to work with you, your family, friends, co-workers - anyone who could benefit from learning simple awareness skills or any of the other classes I offer.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
My Approach
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
