In fact, if you've never touched a firearm before, you're exactly who this class was designed for.
Learning something new can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to firearms. Maybe you've always been curious but didn't know where to start. Maybe someone bought you a handgun and it's been sitting in a drawer because you're afraid of doing something wrong. Maybe you've shot a little before but never felt truly comfortable or confident.
That's where we come in.
Our goal is simple: to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where questions are encouraged, learning happens at your pace, and no one expects you to know anything before you walk through the door.

BASICS OF PISTOL SHOOTING*
PERFECT FOR NEW SHOOTERS!
This comprehensive eight-hour class provides a solid foundation for safe and responsible firearm ownership and use.
You'll learn:
• The rules of firearm safety
• The different types of pistols and how they work
• How to safely load and unload a firearm
• Proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control
• Basic shooting fundamentals
• Safe storage considerations
• Range etiquette and expectations
• How to build confidence as a responsible shooter
PUBLIC CLASSES
Public classes are open to the general public and limited to 4–6 participants to ensure plenty of individual attention.
If fewer than four participants are registered, the class may be rescheduled.
COST: $100 per person*.
Cash, check or Venmo accepted. Payment is due upon arrival.
*Class fee covers instruction and course materials only. Range fees, eye and ear protection, firearm rentals and ammunition are not included.
PRIVATE CLASSES
Want a more personalized experience?
Gather your friends, family members, co-workers, or simply schedule one-on-one instruction and enjoy a class tailored to your group.
Private classes are available for up to six participants.
COST: $100 per person* ($400 minimum).
Host is responsible for full payment upon arrival; Cash, check or Venmo accepted.

And yes—you'll spend time on the range putting what you've learned into practice.
No experience is required.
Questions are encouraged.
Classes are held at Bullseye Shooting Range in Wichita.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
