SITUATIONAL AWARENESS CLASSES

What is Situational Awareness? Why does it matter?

Okay, let’s be honest. Have you ever gotten home from the grocery store and realized you don’t remember the drive? Or walked through a parking lot while checking your phone? Sure, we all have, right? Most of us go through our days on autopilot more often than we’d like to admit. The good news? Situational Awareness isn’t about living in fear or assuming the worst about everyone you meet. It’s simply about paying attention to what’s happening around you and learning how to recognize potential problems before they become actual problems.

In other words, it’s about giving yourself options.

The NRA developed a fantastic program called Refuse To Be A Victim®, and that's the class we teach.

This practical, eye-opening seminar is filled with simple strategies you can begin using right away. You'll learn ways to make yourself, your family, and your home less appealing targets for criminals without changing who you are or living in constant fear.

We'll cover topics such as:

• Home security
• Vehicle and parking lot safety
• Traveling safely
• Online safety and scams
• Keeping children and older adults safer
• Personal security habits and mindset
• Recognizing suspicious behavior
• Building a plan before you ever need one

The reality is that bad things can happen to good people. But there is tremendous confidence in knowing there are steps you can take to reduce your risk and make informed decisions if something doesn't feel right.

This isn't a class about paranoia. It's a class about preparation.

It's about replacing, "I hope I know what to do," with, "I have a plan."

"Okay. . . so how do I learn all of this?"

I'm glad you asked!

Take a look at the classes below and choose the option that works best for you. If you don't see a public class on the calendar, send us an email. There may be one that hasn't been posted yet, or we can schedule a private workshop for your family, friends, workplace, church group, or organization.

Questions? No problem. We'd be happy to help!

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
